As we all enjoy the Christmas time, our minds should be filled with the same awe Simeon had when he saw the newborn baby Jesus. He saw his future redemption in the little, fragile baby. He had no full knowledge of how Jesus would exactly fulfill the great mission of our salvation, but he was confident in God enough to have peace in his heart. He held the baby, blessed him and his parents, and went away with peace. Oh, Lord, give us the same peace!
